Okay, let me state this now: This is really nice. The cosplay itself is well made, and it's shot with a great composition and lighting. Since you're the photographer, I'll critique the photography. The scissor blade and her pose are slightly symmetrical, giving a triangle-type impression. This was handled very well. The background was interesting but not distracting, which pulls our eyes towards the main figure itself. This is supported by your splendid job on getting it focused so nicely. Technique is very high. The lighting is awesome. There is some distracting elements (a few unavoidable shadows) but that may just be me nitpicking. I think this really highlighted the materials used for each part of the costume and the strong colors around her face make it really stand out. Vision and originality could be higher, but it being a frequently used pose took off a star. However, they are still very high because this was a very well done photo.
This picture makes me so happy. Kill la Kill was an incredible anime, and you really pulled off the cosplay-- both in costume and person. Paulina really can pull off Ryuko's attitude and charm. The costume is elaborate and well-made, even down to the two pieces on her head. So, so cool.
